AC Shadows Introduces Bizarre AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre crossover event that challenges traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Revealed
According to the formal release, "An unusual confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of banned ceremonies and monstrous transformations reverberate through the darkness." The narrative features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine group.
The adventure centers on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Transformations
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Items and Extra Features
Players who accomplish the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to multiple objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
- Titan-themed outfit for Yasuke
- Mikasa costume for Naoe

Newest Free Story Update
This update also brings the game's latest free story addition, titled "A Puzzlement."
